He has extensive knowledge and experience of the global credit insurance market and enjoys close relationships with all the major insurers. Prior to this, Richard had 25 years? experience in hotel management operations with Sheraton Hotels Middle East ? becoming the group?s youngest General Manager at 29. His postings included Iraq, Abu Dhabi and Cairo as well as 15 years as General Manager of Sheraton Jeddah, Bahrain and Amman hotels.
Description: Toby has 15 years? broad-based investment banking experience throughout the Middle East, including Managing Director and Head of the Middle East at European Islamic Investment Bank Plc in Bahrain 2007?2009. Previous roles include Head of Equity Derivatives marketing for BNP (then BNP Paribas) 1995?2005, as well as Director at Nomura Investment Bank 2005?2007. With degrees in electrical engineering and aeronautics, Toby started his professional career as a Royal Naval Officer and Fleet Air Arm R&D test pilot.
